Report: Reuben Foster underwent surgery, will miss NFL Scouting Combine

One of Alabama's top NFL draft prospects, linebacker Reuben Foster, recently underwent rotator cuff surgery and won't be able to participate in drills during the NFL scouting combine in March, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Foster is expected to be out about four months, per Caplan, so he'll likely miss organized team activities and minicamp but could be back for training camp in late July.

Foster will still be at the combine to meet with NFL teams, according to Caplan.

CBS Sports ranks Foster as the top inside linebacker and seventh-best overall prospect in this year's draft.
