Former Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster may be considered the “best player in the draft” to some scouts, but his off-field red flags may have scared some teams away.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Monday Morning Quarterback blog, at least one NFL team with a selection in the top 15 had already removed Foster from its draft board before his incident at the NFL Combine that forced him to leave early.
“He already had immaturity, issues with life skills. This is the same guy,” said an evaluator for the team following Foster’s early dismissal.
