Alabama football fans and Minnesota Vikings fans are mourning right now.
Khyree Jackson, a former Crimson Tide defensive back, died Friday night in an auto accident.
The 24-year-old was selected in the fourth round of this recent NFL Draft by the Vikings. Jackson, a Maryland native, spent his final college football season at the University of Oregon in 2023. He made first-team All-Pac-12 for his efforts in recording 34 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, seven pass breakups, and a team-high three interceptions.
