It a move that should not come as shocking or surprising to anyone, University of Alabama running back Derrick Henry will forego his senior season and enter the NFL Draft. ESPN’s Joe Schad reported the news from a source on Thursday.
Henry is the third Crimson Tide player to have his intentions for next season known. Safety Eddie Jackson and linebacker Tim Williams both announced that they were returning to Tuscaloosa for their senior seasons.
There’s really nothing else left for Henry to accomplish in the college football world. He leaves as one of the most decorated Alabama Crimson Tide running backs to ever play in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
