It looks like Alabama football will be without one of its top players for Saturday’s game against South Florida.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that Kadyn Proctor, the Crimson Tide’s offensive tackle, is doubtful.
He suffered a left shoulder injury in pregame warmups last week before Alabama played Western Kentucky. Proctor did not play in the contest as Elijah Pritchett replaced him at left tackle. He earned Freshman All-SEC honors for his efforts last year; however, Kalen DeBoer may not push Proctor to go versus the Bulls. Pritchett is the immediate backup, but the Tide did have Tyler Booker at left tackle and Geno VanDeMark (transfer from Michigan State) at left guard in Wednesday’s practice.
