Cornerback Javier Arenas' hopes of returning to the NFL after missing the 2015 season hit a major roadblock on Sunday, and one of the reasons might have been an injury to another former Alabama standout.
Reggie Ragland, the Bills' second-round draft choice in April after he won the 2015 SEC Defensive Player of the Year Award for the Crimson Tide, suffered a knee injury at training camp on Friday.
The Bills have not announced the severity of Ragland's injury, but Buffalo coach Rex Ryan was decidedly less optimistic about it in his Saturday press conference than he had been on Friday, and the NFL team signed two veteran linebackers on Sunday.
