The class of 2016 for the Alabama Crimson Tide got a bit bigger on Monday when three-star safety Joshua Perry committed to Alabama. Perry becomes the seventh player to give his verbal for that class.
“I decided to go ahead and commit to Alabama, and I’m really excited about the decision,” Perry told 247Sports. “When I first got offered, which was during the A-Day Scrimmage, I thought about committing. But I went home and talked things over with my family, and I decided now was a good time to shut things down.
“I always liked Alabama when I was younger.
