Tennessee Titans rookie linebacker Rashaan Evans joined his teammates on the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since he suffered an undisclosed injury during the NFL's first practice in pads at training camp on July 28.
But after Evans stretched and took part in a few individual drills, he was pulled from practice to work on a side field with trainers.
"Todd (Toriscelli, the Titans' director of sports medicince) does a great job with the return to play," Tennessee coach Mike Vrabel said after Wednesday's practice. "He starts them out with a jog-through, then we go on to the individual, and if it's feeling OK and doing OK with whatever they're working through, then we give them more, and if it doesn't, then Todd pulls them back out of there.
