The Sooners came into Manhattan, KS with a Heisman hopeful quarterback and a defense that had been getting their fair share of attaboys as of late. However on this day, it was K-State QB Skylar Thompson who torched the defense. Okie jumped out to a 21-7 first quarter advantage but the Wildcats struck back taking a 24-23 lead at the half.
