Welp, what should have been unthinkable just happened. Saban implied on Thursday that practice wasn’t great again this week, and this time they weren’t playing a FCS opponent.
Honestly this was a well earned loss, and it will go down as a landmark win for a Texas A&M squad that has been rather terrible this season, particularly on offense.
If there is a silver lining, it’s that we will no longer hear about Saban’s record vs unranked teams and former assistants.
Can this team bounce back? Sure, but it will take a 2015 style turnaround. There is nothing left to focus on now other than the game in front of them.
