PODCAST: Former Alabama WR says Mac Jones is ‘the man for the job’ at QB this season

The question on who should be Alabama’s starting quarterback in the fall will go into spring practice, summer workouts and August camp.

Despite the talent both players have, Crimson Tide fans are excited to see what Young can provide.

A five-star from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif., Young had a career of 13,250 passing yards and 178 touchdowns.

Listed at 6-foot, 190 pounds, Young brings an elite dual-threat ability that people saw in Tua Tagovailoa from 2017-19. He was given a diamond grade of one from Touchdown Alabama Magazine, which means “immediate contributor and game changer.
