Alabama did not lose anyone from the second level of its defense to the NFL Draft.
After not playing last season – due to knee injuries – the Crimson Tide returns Dylan Moses and Joshua McMillon at inside linebacker. The duo of Shane Lee and Christian Harris have a year of experience under their belts, and the trio of Ale Kaho, Jaylen Moody and Markail Benton are back too.
Along with this, Alabama has true freshmen Demouy Kennedy and Jackson Bratton – both of which enrolled early as four-stars. In its five national championship seasons under Nick Saban, an inside linebacker had led the Tide in total tackles.
