New Reese's Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy said in his discussions with contacts around the NFL, there has been no negative feedback concerning the state of Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Nagy, who was introduced as the new executive director of the all-star game Wednesday during a press conference, joined me and Lee Shirvanian on Thursday - as did former executive director Phil Savage - on "The Opening Kickoff" on WNSP-FM 105.5 to talk about the transition of one of Mobile's premier events.
Savage was vocal in January about the state of Ladd-Peebles Stadium, the game's home since 1951, arguing that the Senior Bowl needed a new -- or at least renovated -- venue.
