During Alabama’s Media Day on Sunday, defensive coordinator Pete Golding had his first opportunity to address his February arrest directly with members of the local media. Golding was arrested on Feb. 3 early in the morning for driving under the influence while in Northport, AL.
After releasing a statement condemning his actions, Golding addressed his arrest directly with the media in attendance, taking responsibility for his decision.
“Anytime you’re in a leadership role in anything you do, you’ve got a responsibility,” Golding said. “Every day, we talk to our kids about making good decisions, that there are consequences for making bad decisions.
