It’s been much discussed and debated, and it’s fair to look at the statement with a fair amount of skepticism, but there is no hyperbole in the fact Alabama’s defensive line is three deep across the board.
Add in a talented array of outside linebackers and it’s fairly easy to spot why the Alabama pass rush is arguably as good as it’s been in the Nick Saban era.
Through eight games, UA has 27 sacks and 41 quarterback hurries. The most sacks in the UA-Saban era came in 2012 with 35. The 2015 unit is on pace for more than 40 during the regular season.
