Bryce Young’s second season in the NFL is off to a disastrous start as the former No. 1 overall pick continued to struggle on Sunday during the Carolina Panthers’ 26-3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Young completed 18-of-26 passes for just 84 yards and one interception as the offense put up an embarrassing 159 total yards. Through two games Young has been unable to pass for over 200 yards and has thrown three interceptions and no passing touchdowns.
However, even with the dismal offensive performance new head coach Dave Canales was clear that Young was to remain the team’s starting quarterback and get back to work in hopes of improving.
