Ozzie Newsome has been with the Baltimore Ravens since the beginning. When the NFL franchise moved from Cleveland, where Newsome had been a Hall of Fame tight end for the Browns, he came along as the director of player personnel. In 2002, he became the general manager.
The Ravens have won the Super Bowl twice. But during a press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday, Newsome said there was a part of his job that he valued even more than Baltimore's Vince Lombardi trophies.
"You enjoy the Super Bowl wins," Newsome said. "But I think the biggest thing that I've gained is my relationship with the players.
