Ozzie Newsome doesn't do many interviews, so Friday was unique. As part of the NFL combine in Indianapolis, the Muscle Shoals native stepped to the podium to address his future and the Baltimore Ravens.
His decision to step down as the general manager after the 2018 season was announced a month ago and Friday offered an opportunity to discuss legacy.
There's also plenty of work left for the former Alabama star. The contract of another ex-Crimson Tide star is on that list. Newsome said he spoke with C.J. Mosley's agent Jimmy Sexton at the Alabama national championship win over Georgia in Atlanta.
