One of the most critical players on Alabama roster is seldom used

Prior to the start of the season, there were several question marks surrounding the Alabama football program. One of the question marks was how the Crimson Tide would replace the all-time scoring leader Will Reichard. The expectation was that Lou Groza Award winner and Miami-Ohio transfer Graham Nicholson would step in, replace Reichard, and the drop off be marginal.

Thus far, Nicholson has seen very few opportunities to showcase his potential. The Ohio native is 4/6 on field goal attempts this season and is 55/55 on extra points. His longest made field goal came against Missouri. It was a 47-yard field goal.
