Eric Striker was excited for the chance to finish his career 2-0 against Alabama.
The Oklahoma linebacker was part of the team that defeated Alabama in the 2014 Sugar Bowl and the senior wanted a chance to knock off the Crimson Tide one more time once the College Football Playoff pairings were announced. If Oklahoma advanced past Clemson in the Orange Bowl, Striker would get his opportunity to face Alabama in the title game.
"I would have been excited to play them," Striker said. "Two great schools and great athletes on both sides that have a lot of pride.
