The University of North Georgia announced Friday that it had hired the Alabama offensive coordinator as the school’s first coach ahead of its inaugural football season in 2017.
Of course, in reality, it was all just an elaborate April Fools’ Day joke put together by the school’s athletic department.

“We’ve had students asking to start a football program for years,” assistant athletic director for communications Lee Glenn said in a statement.
