Nick Saban didn’t know when Election Day was? That’s not sitting well with one FCS coach who also happens to be chairman of the board of a major financial corporation.
Coastal Carolina coach Joe Moglia called Saban’s statement “disrespectful” the Myrtle Beach (.S.C.) Sun-News reported.
Last week, Saban said that he “didn’t even know it was happening” in response to a question about the presidential election.
That drew the ire of the Coastal Carolina coach.
“The reason I’m disappointed, No. 1, he’s the highest-paid public employee that exists in the United States, but it’s far greater than that for me,” Moglia said.
