TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– The University of Alabama football team endured sweltering, 90-degree weather conditions and a 22-minute lighting delay in getting through its final scrimmage of fall camp.
Despite being down two running backs, the Crimson Tide’s offense found ways to move the football. At the conclusion of the 15th practice session, head coach Nick Saban took the podium inside Bryant-Denny Stadium and updated the statuses of Bo Scarbrough and Josh Jacobs.
“Bo has been ill for two days,” Saban said.
“He’s been pretty sick. We don’t think this is a serious illness or anything like that, but it is something that we didn’t think it would be good for him not to be in a position where he could be resting.
