Alabama head coach Nick Saban spoke to the media with everyone preparing for Iron Bowl week. Saban began with an injury report.
“Minkah (Fitzpatrick) will practice, Andy (Pappanastos) will be day-to-day, Terrell Lewis and Christian Miller are in the functional phase of rehab and hav not been medically cleared to play and Mack Wilson has not practiced and has not been medically cleared to play,” Saban said, mentioning later that starting left guard Ross Pierschbacher was also day-to-day and had not been medically cleared to practice.
After the injury report, Saban went straight into the matchup with Auburn and how his team is well aware of the magnitude of this game and what is on the line: the SEC West title and a spot in the College Football Playoff to be specific.
