Peyton Woodyard impressed Alabama’s coaching staff during a workout Monday and earned an offer from the Crimson Tide.
Woodyard is a product of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. Georgia is the only other SEC school that has offered Woodyard at this point in his recruitment. Nick Saban informed the freshman defensive back of his offer.
“Right after we finished working out, I was called to meet with Coach Saban,” Woodyard told Touchdown Alabama. “He told me he liked my size and the way I played. He said he wanted to extend an offer to me.
