If you’re sitting in a barbershop reading this article, tread lightly. LeBron James may be coming after you next.
In case you’re lost, NBA megastar LeBron James is going after the University of Alabama and Nick Saban, with James’ media company, Uninterrupted, sending the school a cease and desist order after the Tide’s new barbershop talk-type video series, “Shop Talk,” debuted online. The episode featured former Alabama players receiving haircuts while talking football with their former coach.
Uninterrupted has previously produced similar videos entitled “The Shop” and claims the Alabama video infringes on its intellectual property.
Apparently, James thinks the idea of talking about sports in a barbershop is owned by him and his company.
