Nick Saban's postgame interview with ESPN's Maria Taylor was apparently still on his mind Tuesday, because he actually broached the subject when a group of eight uniformed police officers visited him in his office.
"Is this about the interview?" Saban quipped to the group.
The Executive Board of the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police that went to Tuscaloosa to present Saban with his Commemorative 2017 National Championship Badge. It is a gesture they make when Auburn University or the University of Alabama wins the collegiate championship.
Mountain Brook Police Chief Ted Cook was the association's president for UA's most recent championship and was there for Tuesday's presentation.
