Alabama head coach Nick Saban highlighted a freshman receiver in his post-scrimmage presser.
Jermaine Burton is the leader of the room and Traeshon Holden has been consistent this spring, but Aaron Anderson is looking like a bonafide playmaker. The five-star from Edna Carr High School (New Orleans, La.) caught Coach Saban’s attention with his speed, hands, and routes against the first-team defense. He became an explosive weapon in high school and demonstrated those traits over the weekend in the Crimson Tide’s first game-like practice. Saban is impressed with Anderson’s run after the catch ability, and credible sources have compared his skills to Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III, Jaylen Waddle, and DeVonta Smith.
