During his Monday night press conference, Alabama head coach Nick Saban was adamant during his opening statement that the team had no new injury updates to share with the media.
Despite his reluctance, Saban was still asked for an update about linebacker Christopher Allen, who had suffered a fractured foot during the Crimson Tide’s season opener against Miami.
“Chris Allen is doing what he can do, and it’s a tough rehab for the injury that he has,” Saban said. ” I think everybody’s doing a really good job of trying to help him get to where he’d like to be and where he needs to be, but that’s still pretty much up in the air.
