Nick Saban feels Pete Golding has done a good job with Alabama’s defense this season.
Golding was hired as Alabama’s defensive coordinator in 2019. He was the Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator when Alabama won the 2020 National Championship. Golding was recently named a semi-finalist for the Broyles award, which goes to the top assistant coach in college football.
Saban said he appreciated what Golding has done for Alabama’s defense during his Wednesday press conference.
“I think Pete has done a really, really good job,” Saban said. “He’s very bright. He articulates well with the players. He’s a good teacher.
