Nick Saban expressed Thursday he feels the act of people criticizing coaches for play calls is one of the most overrated things in sports.
Saban got on the topic when he was discussing Alabama’s last playcall against Texas A&M Thursday on “Hey Coach.” The Alabama head coach called timeout before the play happen to change the Crimson Tide’s defensive backs’ leverage. When breaking down the play, he gave insight into why he feels criticizing coaches’ play calls is overrated.
“I think that is probably one of the things that is the most overrated, I think in sports, you know people criticize calls,” Saban said.
