Nick Saban believes the College Football Playoff makes other bowl games less important

Since the start of the new century, the college football postseason has been a hotly contested topic.

With the BCS system being the decider for over a decade, pundits and pundits were critical of the sport only having a computer-based system deciding who should be competing for the national championship game along with only two teams being considered for the top prize.

This ultimately led to what exists today that is the College Football Playoff. But just like the BCS, the new playoff has stirred up its own fixture of controversy and has sparked new conversation around what the future of the postseason should be.
