The honeymoon phase for Bryce Young is over for the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina decided to bench its No. 1 overall selection of the 2023 NFL Draft after two games into his second season.

Young struggled as a rookie, but it was because the Panthers did not have much around him. He still does not have an adequate offensive line, which has led to him getting sacked six times and having three interceptions. Young, a former Heisman Trophy winner in 2021 at the University of Alabama, did not have a touchdown pass versus the Los Angeles Chargers or New Orleans Saints.
