In Baltimore's previous prime-time appearance, the Ravens lost middle linebacker C.J. Mosley to a knee injury on their third defensive snap in a 34-23 defeat by the Cincinnati Bengals.
With Mosley carted to the locker room during the Sept. 13 game, the Ravens' concerns were alleviated somewhat when an MRI showed the former Theodore High School standout and Alabama All-American had a bone bruise and not some type of ligament damage.
But even bone bruises can take months to heal. So when will Mosley return to the field for Baltimore?
Well, he nearly made it back for the next game, according to Ravens coach John Harbaugh, who said Mosley was "really close" to playing on Sunday.
