NFL veteran safety Kareem Jackson inks deal with AFC team

Former Alabama standout and NFL safety, Kareem Jackson agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills Tuesday.

Jackson won the 2009 BCS national with the Crimson Tide and was later selected by the Houston Texans with the 10th pick in the 2010 NFL draft. Jackson spent the first eight seasons of his career in Houston before a stint with the Denver Broncos from 2019 to 2023. He reunited with the Texans late again in 2023.

Jackson now enters his 14th NFL season with the Buffalo Bills. The veteran spoke on being a late addition as training camp for all 32 NFL teams has officially started.
