With Arian Foster out with a hamstring injury on Sunday, running back Kenyan Drake made his first NFL start for the Miami Dolphins. The former Alabama standout led Miami in rushing with 37 yards on nine carries and caught two passes for 11 yards in a 30-24 overtime victory against the Cleveland Browns.
A hamstring problem caused Drake to miss three of Miami's four preseason games, and he'd carried the ball a total of four times in the first two games of his NFL career.
"I think he had a good week of practice," Miami coach Adam Gase said of his decision to start Drake instead of Jay Ajayi with Foster out.
