In many cases, it'll be players who are hoping a good performance on Thursday night will tilt a roster decision their way.
NFL teams have 90 players on their preseason rosters. At 3 p.m. CDT Saturday, they are allowed only 53 for the duration of the season. That means more than 1,100 players now on NFL rosters won't be in a couple of days.
