NFL Combine: Which defensive lineman ran fastest on Sunday?

Josh Sweat of Florida State turned in the fastest 40-yard dash time among the defensive linemen at the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday. Sweat clocked in at 4.53 seconds to top the position group in Indianapolis.

Sweat is a 251-pound defensive end.

Texas-San Antonio defensive end Marcus Davenport had the second-fastest time for the defensive linemen in the 40 at 4.58 seconds, and Tulane defensive end Ade Aruna came in third-fastest at 4.60
