New York Jets wide receiver ArDarius Stewart could miss the first two games of the 2018 NFL regular season for violating the league's Policy on Performance-Enhancing Substances.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported on Friday that Stewart had tested positive for a diuretic or masking agent. The NFL considers such results as a failed test.
Stewart joined the Jets from Alabama as a third-round choice in the 2017 NFL Draft.
During his rookie season, Stewart played in 15 games, with two starts. He was on the field for 231 offensive snaps and 132 special-teams plays in 2017.
