NCAA Individual Event Finals: Alabama Gymanstics Wrap-Up

After a strong start on Friday in the semifinal session, the Alabama Gymnastics team advanced to the Super Six in the Fort Worth Convention Center. In the 23-year history of the Super Six, Alabama has advanced an NCAA-record 21 times.

The SEC represented three of the six teams, including Auburn and Florida. The Tide finished Saturday night’s Super Six competition with a final team score of 197.275 to take fourth place overall. Florida won (197.850), Utah was second (197.800), Oklahoma third (197.525), Stanford fifth (197.250) and Auburn sixth (195.625).

With Florida’s third consecutive title, the SEC has won the NCAA Gymnastics Championship title in nine of the last 10 years.
