After losing Damien Harris and Josh Jacobs to the National Football League, the University of Alabama returns Najee Harris and Brian Robinson Jr. as its primary running backs for next season.
Both players enrolled in the 2017 signing class, despite Harris being regarded as a five-star and No. 1 overall athlete in the class while Robinson came in boasting a four-star rating.
Harris and Robinson bring size to the table; however, Robinson has more power and showed versatility as a receiver on A-Day. In two years, Harris has more rushing yards (1,153) and touchdowns (seven) — including a performance of 783 yards with four scores in 2018.
