Ed. Note: I am on vacation effective from this morning until Monday — it will be nice to watch football for football’s sake. Sadly, there will be no Giving Away Money this week. But, a few things of note real quick: 1. The mid-major lines are far better plays this week than most of the Power 5 slate; 2. Michigan at -7 is really tasty, and so is Alabama at -29 — more on that later; and 3. I had my first objectively bad outing of the season during last week’s bloodbath, going 6-6 and running the season tally to 55-38-1.
