Miami's 2018 first-round draft choice made his first NFL start on Sunday, and Dolphins coach Adam Gase described Minkah Fitzpatrick's debut in the NFL team's lineup as "good."
But he could have played better, Miami defensive coordinator Matt Burke said.
The 11th player drafted on April 26, the former Alabama All-American made 10 tackles in Miami's 28-20 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
"It was awesome," Fitzpatrick said. "It was a whole lot of fun. We could've played better on the first couple of series, but we went out there, we finished.
