Load 'em up. Bring 'em in.
That's what the second-ranked University of Alabama softball team did Friday at Rhoads Stadium, loading the bases to produce big innings in a pair of mercy-rule victories at the Easton Crimson Classic.
The Crimson Tide defeated Louisiana-Monroe 11-0 and North Dakota State 15-2, both times creating revolving-door situations with the bases loaded. Alabama got a four-run inning against ULM and topped that in a big way with a 10-run inning against the Bison.
Alabama improved to 18-1. UA will host DePaul at 1:30 p.
