Men’s Basketball Uses 15 Three-Pointers to Cruise Past Louisiana, 105-93

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama basketball used 15 three-point baskets and six double-figure scoring efforts to earn the 105-93 victory over Louisiana on Friday night inside Coleman Coliseum. With the win, the Crimson Tide improves to 2-1 on the young season, including a 2-0 mark on its home court.

The 100-plus points marked the first time the Crimson Tide has finished in triple-figures since Nov. 18, 2013, against Stillman College, and was the first time against a Division I foe since Dec. 27, 2005, when the Tide took down Jackson State, 101-66. The 15 threes were the most an Alabama team has scored since they sunk 19 against East Tennessee State on Dec.
