Meet Josh Jacobs: Alabama's Forgotten RB Recruit Who's Torching Defenses

He caught the game. That's one of the advantages of having a former player at the University of Alabama. Most of them are on national television, even against an opponent like Kentucky.

So Jarvis Payne was watching when Joshua Jacobs made his first career start for the Crimson Tide, notched his first 100-yard rushing game and helped lead the 34-6 victory at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night.

"It was a nice game, he really did a great job," the high school coach said. "Alabama looks pretty tough right now. I don't really know who's going to mess with them, they're so deep.
