Florida State University received much hype in the preseason, getting ranked at No. 10 in the polls, but it went down Saturday in Ireland in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup versus Georgia Tech. Brent Key, a former Alabama assistant coach in the Nick Saban era, earned a 24-21 victory over a top-10 program as the Yellow Jackets’ head coach. The Crimson Tide had a few players to leave Tuscaloosa (Ala.) for FSU via the NCAA transfer portal when Saban retired. Roydell Williams, Malik Benson, Earl Little II, Terrence Ferguson, and Shawn Murphy were the individuals who transferred.
