New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram made his preseason debut on Saturday night with something new on his uniform. The former Alabama All-American's nameplate reads "Ingram II" instead of "Ingram" now.
"That's my name, for one," Ingram told Mike Triplett of ESPN about the change. "My dad is Mark Ingram. I'm Mark Ingram II. And, hopefully, I'll be blessed with a little boy, and he'll be the third. It's just something that I've always been interested in doing, and I was finally able to do it."
Ingram has made changes to his NFL jersey previously.
