Alabama defensive back Marcus Banks is looking to make a difference in the Tuscaloosa community ahead of fall camp.
Banks is working with the Alabama fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha as he and the group look to encourage local Tuscaloosa residents to receive their COVID-19 vaccination shots.
The versatile sophomore is part of the Kappa Alpha chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity incorporated. Touchdown Alabama has learned Banks and his fraternity brothers organized an event with Delta Phi Lambda Fraternity to urge others to get vaccinated.

According to Alabama Public Health, the state has seen a total of 4,662,015 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine delivered to Alabama with a total of 3,227,578 doses administered to the public.
