There wasn’t much surprise as to who was going to be named the Southeastern Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year.
Especially after the SEC Championship game.
Alabama quarterback Mac Jones was honored on Tuesday as the conference’s top offensive player after having a stellar season at quarterback for the Crimson Tide. Jones led the team to a 10-0 regular-season record and was second in the conference in passing yards (3,739), passing touchdowns (32), and was the leader in completion percentage (76.45 %) and passer rating (202.35).
Jones is also a finalist for numerous other college football awards which include the Maxwell, Davey O’Brien and will likely be a Heisman Trophy finalist.
